Companies in which you do business should at the very least keep records of your name. Any communication that begins with “Dear Bank of America Customer”, ought to signal caution. Remember…when in doubt to the legitimacy of a request, follow up by using one of two safety protocols: log onto the web site directly by typing the main address in your browser or call the company on the phone.
